If you are ever in NYC, or currently live in NYC you must go watch a Broadway show. Broadway shows are one of the most popular attractions in New York City. In just 2010, Broadway shows sold more than $1 billion in tickets!
The nickname Broadway was one of the first streets in the United States to be lit with electric lights. It still remains popular today because millions of lights on the theater and the billboard advertisements light up the night sky along Broadway. My favorite Broadway shows I have seen are The Lion King, Aladdin, Madagascar and Book of Mormon.
If Broadway shows aren’t your thing, go watch a comedy show or visit the Lincoln Center for an opera show. My favorite comedy shows were seeing Aziz Anzari live, Russell Peters and Garden of Laughs where Ray Ramono, Wanda Sykes and many other comedians came out. One of my favorite family shows was taking Mansour to Disney on Ice theme shows, Madagascar Live Broadway show, Aladdin and Cirque De Soleil.
If you love music, than NYC holds the best concerts in town. I have seen more Bollywood singers in live concerts. My favorite concerts I have seen was Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sonu Nigam, Shreya, and Atif Aslam.
